About me
I am the Serials/Government Information Cataloging Librarian at the University of Maryland Libraries in College Park, with nearly two decades of expertise in library technical services and government information. I hold a BA in History and American Studies from Washington Adventist University and an MLIS from the University of Maryland's College of Information. A dedicated professional leader, I serve as Education Committee Co-Chair for ALA's GODORT, on ACRL's Standards and Dr. E. J. Josey Spectrum Mentorship Committees, and currently sit as Councilor-at-Large on the ALA Council. Recognized as a 2022 ALA Spectrum Scholar and 2025 ALA Emerging Leader, my research focuses on genealogy, JEDIA, African American history, practical education in LIS, and research support for non-tenured faculty.
