Ginger Butcher is an award-winning NASA science communicator with 29 years specializing in Earth observation outreach at NASA Headquarters and Goddard Space Flight Center. Her expertise is in translating Landsat and satellite imagery into immersive public learning experiences and developing educational products connecting remote sensing data to place-based environmental education. She has experience designing and facilitating educator workshops and coordinating public programs that transform abstract satellite data into tangible, explorable experiences. Her experience as a liaison between scientists and interpreters has helped her create innovative hands-on products helping diverse audiences understand their landscapes and environmental connections from space's unique perspective.
