Elementary, middle, and high schools are filled with potential library patrons–if we could just get them through our doors! Make your library a go-to space for school-aged children and their families by using the school district calendars as a basis for your program planning. This workshop will demonstrate how to use school calendars to the library’s benefit, and will provide a step-by-step process for creating programs that draw school families to public libraries. Participants will leave with an action plan for a specific program they can implement in their own libraries.
