Are you having a teen problem at your library? Too many teens? Rowdy teens draped over all your furniture and sprawled all over the floors? Bring it on. We will discuss how most libraries are overwhelmed and underprepared for how to deal with teens. In this session, we’ll bust myths, laugh at the chaos, and get real about what teens need. We’ll explore how adult discomfort, lack of training, and awkward spaces fuel the very behaviors we struggle with. You will learn practical solutions for staffing, behavior guidelines, and how to make space that will improve your teen situation significantly.
